New website Required - Front and back ends including mysql database schema as necessary. We are a UK based business, the finished website will be hosted in the UK. The website is to match construction contractors to architects and designers in much the same way as this one does for IT projects, similar to rentacoder and all the others. The website will have three main parts:- 1. Front end for buyers - This will include all functionality for buyer signup, seller profiles, feedback, project listings and so on. 2. Front end for contractors - contractors will pay a fee to signup and a commission on jobs won. Because we will have a sales team actively promoting signups we require a "rep" field or similar on the contractor signup page that is used to track sales people's commissions. The signup fee will be lower when this field is populated with a recognised name. Signup fees and commissions will be taken online using Google checkout, and this functionality must be designed in. 3. Front end for our sales team. This will include an automated 2 teir commission tracking system where sales people can log in and see their current commissions, payments etc. and add/manage new sales people that they recruit. Sales commission payments will be made using PayPal and this functionality must be designed in. Functionality for logged secure messaging between matched users is required. we are looking for a corporate look and feel to the site and require the coder to suggest and generate a logo and any graphics they feel necessary, although if we receive good bids from skilled coders who feel that graphic design is not one of their strengths then this part may be listed seperately by negotiation. Because we are effectively leaving the design of the site to the coder we will require a full specification of the proposed pages and functionality, with a sample of what the site will look like before work commences. There may then be some negotiation over the design aspects. Once the site is built and handed over we will require 30 days maintenance to fine tune. After this it is envisaged that we will administer and maintain it, therefore we require that all code is well commented. The site is to be w3c compliant and stand up to pen testing. The platform is Linux/UNIX Apache, PHP and MySQL. This is open to negotiation however, if the coder feels that there is a more efficient way. As there is likely to be much dialogue between the coder and ourselves throughout this project it is imperitive that the coder has a full understanding of spoken and written English. Finally, please provide an estimate of how long you expect the entire project to take. Thanks...
